Our Church Vision

To bring People to faith and trust in Jesus Christ, one Soul at at time. To build a loving, caring community of believers who reach out to others naturally with the love of Jesus Christ.

We are a group of Christians;

bulletwho want to love God, worship and praise Him,
bulletwho want to learn more about our faith, and who teach the faith to others,
bulletwho want to practice imaginative friendship (fellowship), and hospitality,
bulletwho want to minister to the needs of all people we meet,
bulletwho want to tell people, who would never come to Church, about Jesus,
bulletwho are committed to personal prayer, praise and worship, and study of God's Word, and fellowship with other Christians, and giving our money to God's work, and using our Spiritual gifts in worship, and seeking how we may serve God best with our lives. All because we LOVE the Lord Jesus Christ, because He first loved us.

If this fits with your Christian vision, you are more than welcome to join us.

If you don't want these things then can I, as humbly as I can, suggest that you need to get closer to Jesus Christ, because that's what He wants you to be doing.

Church Profile

St Philips is a local parish Church within the Church of England

From the Biblical Evangelical Anglican Tradition.

People have said about St Philip's;

"There is something really special here"

"There is such a warm welcome"

"You can really feel the presence of God amongst you"

"The Spirit is here"

"The teaching from the Bible is applied to daily life!"

The People of St Philip's mainly come from the local community of Weston Mill area of Plymouth. But we are increasingly finding that Bible believing Evangelicals are also finding a home amongst us. Every Christian is welcome to come and join in our worship of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Every person seeking to know more about Jesus is welcome.

Visitors are most welcome.

We try to answer the question, "What is a Christian?" with our lives and words.
